About Us
Silver Spoons Inc. was founded by Mekia Hearn after having spent years providing successful job-seeking and interview process navigation support, to friends and colleagues.

Mekia received encouragement after a close friend landed a national job within the federal government and commented that Mekia's own guidance was key in helping her land the position. Many others have since sought her support from Mekia and further encouraged her to use her time and talent to help others within an official capacity. As such, in 2020, Silver Spoons Inc., a nonprofit organization, was formed.

Our objective is to help young adult job-seekers who do not otherwise have direct access to the appropriate role models/support networks and general resources needed to adequately prepare themselves for today’s job market.
